Jodi Boyne Joins Rapp Strategies as Director of Public Affairs
Sean Oyaas also promoted to Director as Rapp Strategies prepares for 2023
MINNEAPOLIS — Rapp Strategies, Inc., a Minneapolis-based public affairs firm specializing in strategic communications, complex public issues and reputation management, announced today that Jodi Boyne will join the company as a Senior Director, starting Jan. 16.

Boyne most recently was the Director of Public Affairs for the Minnesota Judicial Branch, where she led the work of the Court Information Office that included modernizing the branch’s communications and helping build trust, understanding and access to the state’s court system. Before her work at the Judicial Branch, Boyne was the Vice President of Public Relations for LeadingAge Minnesota, which represents organizations that provide aging services and senior care across the state.
Boyne also worked in public affairs and communications at the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency and the Minnesota House of Representatives. She earned her bachelor’s degree in in journalism and political science from the University of St. Thomas.

In his expanded role as Director at Rapp Strategies, Oyaas brings a wealth of experience across the legislative, political and private sectors. Before joining the firm, Oyaas served as a senior member of the Walz-Flanagan political team, as a state policy and government relations associate for Cargill, managed congressional races in Minnesota, and as a Legislative Aide with the Minnesota Senate.
