WE'RE HIRING: Rapp Strategies is seeking a communications specialist to join our talented and collaborative team

Rapp Strategies, Inc., a strategic counsel and communications firm specializing in issue and reputation management, is looking to add a new entry-level member to our account team. We work with interesting companies, trade groups, nonprofits and government agencies. Our specialties include strategic thinking, navigating complex issues, mitigating risks, building reputation capital, and helping clients leverage big ideas to accomplish their goals.  

Having recently moved into a larger office designed for collaboration in Northeast Minneapolis, we are seeking a talented individual who wants to grow in our profession and has a strong interest in public affairs. Relevant professional experience is helpful, but we expect and help team members to learn and grow on the job.

Some of the skills and experience that can be advantageous for an account team member include:

  • Digital media writing and planning

  • Creativity across social media platforms

  • Ability to research and distill information, including detailed reports and opinion research

  • Distinguished writing that is appropriate to the medium and audiences

  • Internship at a professional communications firm

  • Ability to conceptualize and help create visually compelling content

  • Understanding how to leverage social media channels to reach key audiences and use analytic tools to measure performance and adapt as necessary

  • Proficiency with the Microsoft suite of software, design programs (such as the Adobe Creative Suite and Canva) and/or website platforms (such as Squarespace)

  • A passion for client-centered work
