WE'RE HIRING: Seeking Communications Specialists to Join Our Talented and Collaborative Team
Rapp Strategies, Inc., a strategic counsel and communications firm specializing in issue and reputation management challenges, is looking to add new members to its account team. We work with interesting companies, trade groups, nonprofits and government agencies. Our specialties include strategic thinking, navigating complex issues, mitigating risks, building reputation capital, and helping clients leverage big ideas to accomplish their goals.
Based in the Twin Cities, we are seeking talented individuals who want to grow in our profession and have a strong interest in public affairs. We are also seeking individuals who can help us expand our social media practice. The ideal candidates can juggle multiple communications assignments, have experience developing and implementing social media strategy, and relish new challenges. You should have at least one year of relevant professional experience, including internships.
Working with our account staff and leadership team, you will be asked to produce high-quality work that supports clients' objectives. Some of the skills and experience that Rapp Strategies has found to be advantageous in this role includes:
Strong writing and planning skills
Social media strategy and implementation
Creativity across social media platforms
Strong eye for design and ability to conceptualize and create visually compelling content
Understanding how to leverage various social media channels and use analytic tools to measure performance and adapt as necessary
Proficiency with the Microsoft suite of software, design programs (such as the Adobe Creative Suite and Canva) and/or website platforms (such as Squarespace and WordPress)
Ability to research and distill information
Previous employment in communications or public affairs
